Job Reference # 270: Junior
Network Administrator
- Monitor and respond to the Grace Managed Workspace Service Ticket System regarding client computing issues within a specified group of clients systems
- Provides computer support by troubleshooting with Remote Monitoring application and correcting problems on workstations, notebooks and servers. (Real time problem resolution for clients)
- Support completed via remote assistance and some in person interaction, including (Installs and upgrades computer hardware and software applications, (remote or on-site)
Supported platforms

- Linux basics
- knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol, Subnetting and router configuration.
- DNS, DHCP, and related services
- Must
be MCP, MCSA, MCSE Certified. (MANDATORY)
- Occasionally, technician may be required to work extended hours and provide on-call coverage.
- Clearly document service performed /resolution efforts in detail and log in knowledge base.
- Assist with client’s network / infrastructure logistic support and maintenance.
- Monitor and report client’s over-all systems infrastructure status, system utilization availability/usage. (Weekly)
- Position will manage client’s workstations including install, build, imaging and ongoing security and maintenance. Provides remote and on-site software installs and maintenance updates.
- Provides evaluation of security risks, and implementation of processes to prevent misuse of computing resources.
- Management and monitoring of anti-virus protection and system maintenance for designated Grace Client’s servers, workstations, notebooks’, routers, switches, backup media
- Continually seek out functional and procedural improvements.
- Technician must understand license restrictions and confidentiality guidelines in reference to applications and client’s information stored within their network.
- Technician must be kept updated with the new computer technology and understand how these relate to ongoing client’s technical problems.
